Following the announcement of the one-millionth Mazda MX-5 Miata production this past spring, the Miata has been on a worldwide tour to celebrate the car and its customers. The MX-5 was named the best-selling roadster of all time, and that is something to be celebrated!

The tour begins at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca for the Monterey Motorsports Reunion on August 18-21, continue its 18-stop U.S. tour following that, and will end where it began on October 1-2. The Millionth Miata Celebration Tour will not only celebrate the one-millionth car, but classic models as well. After all, the more Mazdas — the merrier!

The one-millionth car is equipped with a 1.5 liter SKYACTIV-G engine and is known for its lightweight and fun driving experience. The MX-5 will be riding alongside the 15th Miata, a classic red 1990 model, a part of Mazda's Heritage Collection.

The 18 stops on this celebration tour were chosen based on sales history and enthusiasm among owners' clubs. At each stop the first 240 owners and fans will have the chance to sign the one-millionth MX-5, and 400 fans will receive a "Millionth Miata Celebration Tour" T-shirt at each stop.

Even if you can’t make one of the tour stops, stop into a Mazda dealership and drive one for yourself— today!
