Patrick Sorvari celebrates his five-year anniversary with O’Daniel Mazda this month. As a customer service representative, he works with customers regularly through phone calls and emails — describing his work style as focused and being goal-driven to get the job done right. “I work hard to be an individual who listens and provides honest information to customers.”
One of the biggest things Patrick has learned throughout his time with the O’Daniel Automotive Group, is that every day can have challenges, but that they can be overcome. He’s seen this since he first started his job with organization; he said that the organization of call tasks has become clearer, which has helped him do better at his job.
Patrick first came to O’Daniel's after his temp job ended, and he really enjoys the group of people he works with. He remembers that for his birthday in 2014, employees from the sales, service, and BDC departments sang “Happy Birthday” and gave him a cake. They also presented him with tickets to see WWE Smackdown! that night.
When talking about his personal life, Patrick cites his father as being the biggest influence in his life. “He’s now retired but was a hard worker, strict but fair, and he instilled core values that I use every day.” Another influence in his life is sports figure Bo Jackson, who overcame a career threatening hip injury during a football game to play pro baseball nearly five years after his injury. “That’s hard work and dedication.”
Patrick moved to Fort Wayne in 2004 from the Michigan Peninsula. He graduated from Northern Michigan University in Broadcasting with a Speech Communication minor. He enjoys reading, listening to rock and roll and heavy metal, and sports such as baseball, football, and pro-wrestling. He used to be a wrestling ring announcer for some spot shows in Michigan. During college, he was known as “The Enforcer” on his radio show “In Your Face” as well as “Thrash n’ Trash Metal Tuesday night.” He was also The Loud Rock director for two and a half years where he acquired music from record labels and music agencies. What a career!
Congratulations on five years with O’Daniel Mazda, Patrick! And to many more!
