Another year and another great update to the Mazda family. The new 2017 Mazda3 brings driving pleasure, upmarket options, and increased value to a highly competitive market.

Simplifying the trim levels to Sport, Touring, and Grand Touring, the Mazda3 rids itself of the “I” and “S” designation with entry-level Sport and Touring models. These entry-level models come with an animated 155-horsepower, SKYACTIV-G 2.0-liter engine, while the top model Touring and the Grand Touring are offered with a tenacious 184-horsepower, SKYACTIV-G 2.5L engine. Most notably, Mazda has catered to driving enthusiasts by providing a SKYACTIV-MT six-speed manual transmission option to all of their models along with the SKYACTIV-DRIVE six-speed automatic transmission.

Features that come standard in the Sport model include electronic parking brake, power mirrors, variable-intermittent wipers, power windows with a one-touch driver’s window, power door locks, remote keyless entry, push-button start, and a seven-inch MAZDA CONNECT display with Bluetooth hands-free streaming. All of these features create a premium touch and elevate the quality of the entry-level model to something more reminiscent of a luxury car.

Overall, the repackaged 2017 Mazda3 continues to carry the high reputation of the generations before it by adding delightful performance, more standard options, and plenty of practicality, which pulls it ahead in this competitive market.
