Regardless of how often Mazda Motor Company changed their Mazda6 mid-sized sedan, it will never be perfect in their eyes. Why? Because a customer should always have the best possible design and features in today’s changing world, even after 15 years of excellence.

The Mazda6 launched in 2002 and the product sold itself. The sleek design, smooth ride, and famous engine gave customers exactly what they wanted in their family car. In the first year, Mazda was named in the 10Best Car and Driver list, selling this product even further than their good name alone. But despite winning numerous awards since then including Best Family Car, Top Safety Pick, and Car of the Year, Mazda wanted to improve their top seller. Many customers and competitors questioned why Mazda kept making improvements when the vehicle was great as is. Mazda wanted perfection.

The company didn’t only wait for a new year release to make changes; rather, they worked year-round making adjustments. Customers shouldn’t have to compromise to get a safe and stylish vehicle for an affordable price, so why should Mazda compromise for a vehicle that’s not perfect? Adjustments are as simple as LED headlights, to as complex as creating a lighter weight yet more efficient engine. This year, Mazda brought in features from their brand new CX-9 vehicle, such as sound insulation for the sound system and rear USB ports for backseat passengers. Between these constant updates and their smooth steering technology, Mazda helps make drivers feel more confident behind the wheel.

The awards aren’t over yet either. This year, Car and Driver named the Mazda6 as one of the “Most Beautiful Cars You Can Buy Right Now Under $50,000,” IIHS ranked it a Top Safety Pick+, and New York Daily News Awards named it the Best Family Car.

Mazda shows their customer care in many ways, but the 15 year old Mazda6 mid-sized sedan is continued proof of the company’s dedication and determination. Thank you for your excellent customer care Mazda, and we can’t wait to see what new changes you have in store!
