Entering a new industry is always nerve-wracking; often, things are uncertain, intimidating, and new. Jasmine Stippich, however, embraced this uncertainty and turned her first year in car sales into a passion.

Coming into the field from a job at a local print shop, Jasmine knew that things would be different.

“I would say the biggest difference from when I started to today would be as simple as learning the industry. This is the first sales job I’ve ever had, and I had to adjust to a new kind of job I never had experience with before. I’m much more comfortable with the whole picture now that I have experience under my belt.”

Jasmine’s sense of assuredness came from a personal dedication to learn and guidance from her new coworkers. She especially remembers two coworkers whose help influenced her.

“Nick Rusk and Nick Whitworth helped me out the most getting started and still do. Both offered great advice and always steered me in the right direction when I was learning the industry.”

Rusk and Whitworth aren’t the only people Jasmine thanks for her newfound success, though. After buying a Mazda6 from Heinrich and seeing him during routine oil changes, they began to discuss her future in car sales. After a year of Heinrich suggesting Jasmine enter the industry, she finally took his advice and hasn’t regretted it since.

Between this advice and her experience on the sales floor, Jasmine has created her own personal philosophy while on the job. She’s hands-on with her accounts, emphasizes the importance of kindness, puts her faith in the Golden Rule, and does her best to understand the customer’s lifestyle and find the product that best fits their needs.

“I try to have a positive outlook and take the pressure off people when they come in to buy a car. The process is stressful for a lot of people because they typically only buy a car every 5+ years. I also try to lighten the mood and make customers feel comfortable as we narrow down the search for the right vehicle.”

In a year’s time, Jasmine has gone from selling her first car, to selling three cars in one day, to repeating that milestone over and over. In her own words, she’s hooked, and she doesn’t see that changing anytime soon. Thank you for one year, Jasmine. We look forward to celebrating many more milestones with you!
