It’s no secret that Mazda is a leader in style, and the new options for the 2018 Mazda MX-5 Miata definitely live up to that. Customers looking to buy this model now have the option of a Dark Cherry soft top, Auburn Nappa leather interior, and Soul Red Crystal and Machine Gray Metallic premium exterior paint. While these new options are aesthetically appealing, if you’re looking for a more functional reason to get the new soft-top option, it also offers reduced cabin noise.
There are still the standard three trim levels available for the new Miata: the entry-level MX-5 Sport, the MX-5 Club which is harder-edged, and the MX-5 Grand Touring which stands as the most high-level option.
The MX-5 Sport adds new aesthetic features as well as Mazda Advanced Keyless Entry which is now standard on all models. The new features include things like a new touchscreen display, radio connectivity, cloth bucket seats, and leather-wrapped shift knob and handbrake. The mid-level MX-5 Club also offers new design features, including heated cloth seats, a BOSE® 9-speaker audio system, and blind spot monitoring. Last but definitely not least, the MX-5 Grand Touring coms with leather trimmed seats, heated seats, adaptive front-lighting system, lane departure warning, and rain sensing windshield wipers (just to mention a few).
Even though the three options come with different features, you can always expect your MX-5 Miata to be fully equipped with a 2.0-liter SKYACTIV-G engine with 155 horsepower.
While the new soft-top and leather interior options are stunning, you can really get excited about the new additional paint colors. Some of the new colors include Eternal Blue Mica, Snowflake White Pearl Mica, and Soul Red Crystal.
