Mazda engineers are constantly working to find better ways to improve their vehicles. From more safety features to innovative technology, the goal is to provide a premium driving experience that separates Mazda from other rival luxury automakers. The 2020 Mazda3 hatchback and sedan exceed expectations with sophisticated styling and exhilarating driving experience that help continue to elevate the brand.

The all-new Mazda3 has undergone a striking redesign for the hatchback and sedan models. Both variations feature a sleeker exterior rather than the traditional sharp body lines.

Every 2020 Mazda3 model is equipped with G-Vectoring Control Plus and a Skyactiv-G 2.5-liter engine that produces 186 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 186 lb-ft of torque at 4,000 rpm. To enhance fuel-efficiency, cylinder-deactivation technology comes standard on all Mazda3 hatchbacks, Mazda3 Premium sedans, and Mazda3 sedans equipped with i-Activ all-wheel drive.

Luxurious materials are found throughout the interior along with intuitive technology features. An 8.8-inch center display uses the latest Mazda Connect system and can be operated through the commander control or voice command. A seven-inch digital gauge display keeps drivers in constant contact with their vehicle. More features include dual USB ports, push-button start, an electronic parking brake, and plenty of storage space.

Automatic headlights, rain-sensing windshield wipers, power-folding door mirrors, and power windows with one-touch down/up feature are all standard on the Mazda3 sedan. A matte-finished front grille and 16-inch alloy wheels enhance the sedan's sleek exterior. The seats and door trims are made with cloth to increase comfort.

For the Mazda3 hatchback, the door trims and seats are made of premium leather as well as the leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob. A black metallic front grille, rear roof spoiler, and 18-inch alloy wheels give the hatchback a striking exterior. Standard features also include automatic dual-zone climate control, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and power windows with one-touch down/up feature.

The sedan-only Mazda3 Select trim level is available with i-Activ all-wheel drive. Premium features include Apply CarPlay, Android Auto, and Mazda Advanced Keyless Entry. The steering wheel, shift knob, seats and door trims are made of leather. To keep the driver and passenger more comfortable in their respective zones, the automatic dual-zone climate control system allows them to customize their space to their preference.

For an upgraded audio experience, the Mazda3 Preferred trim includes a Bose 12-speaker audio system, an aluminum speaker grille, a shark fin antenna, and a three-month trial subscription to SiriusXM satellite radio. Heated front seats, an eight-way power driver's seat, two-position driver memory system, and memory position door mirrors allow drivers to customize their ride for a tailored driving experience.

The Premium trim includes windshield-projected Active Driving Display, leather seats, power moonroof, signature front and rear LED lighting, Adaptive Front-Lighting System and paddle shifters when equipped with Skyactiv-Drive six-speed automatic transmission. New 18-inch bright-finish alloy wheels only enhance the sophisticated styling of the Mazda3 Premium sedan, and 18-inch black-finish alloy wheels give the Mazda3 Premium hatchback a sportier design.

The 2020 Mazda3 has an MSRP starting at $21,500.
