Mazda has expanded its Essential Car Care Program to honor a new employee group.
Following its initial program launched for healthcare workers, Mazda North American Operations announced its new program as a way of saying “Thank you” to America’s educators who have always been the foundation of communities; making sure that students receive the knowledge they need in this ever-changing world.
Teachers, school staff, and coaches at all education levels can now avail of standard free oil changes for most models and makes at participating dealers nationwide. Not only that—to help ensure their safety, interior and exterior vehicle cleaning, and inspection will also be provided by Mazda dealerships cost-free.
Several dealers are even providing program extensions like vehicle pick-up and return at educator’s convenience, and free school supplies. More information on the Essential Car Care Program for educators such as terms and conditions, eligibility, scheduling, and dealer availability can be found at MazdaUSA.com/educators.
Jeff Guyton, the Mazda North American Operations President and CEO said that through partnering with the company’s dealer network, they hope to give assistance to educators who have tirelessly worked throughout the pandemic as the new school year has started.
“Mazda has a history of serving communities. This program is our way of showing gratitude to the education community,” he added.
NDAC Chair Philip Van Riper assured educators that they will receive no less than the best service from Mazda dealers. Throughout the difficult pandemic, they have been partners with Mazda in several programs such as Mazda Heroes, Essential Car Care Program for healthcare workers, and now the newest Essential Car Care Program for educators.
It was in April 2020 when Mazda first launched the Essential Car Care Program to support those working in the health sector needing reliable transportation. Dealers and employees of the company experienced fulfillment and gratitude to be of service to those selflessly working for our nation day in and out. This inspired Mazda Heroes, a program that aims to salute individuals across the country who have dedicated themselves to their communities throughout 2020. Fifty deserving heroes were selected and were given a special part of Mazda’s history—the Mazda MX-5 Miata 100th Anniversary Special Edition.
