Mazda mades its announcement for its 2023 release schedule with the new Mazda3 2023. Aiming to compete with more premium cars, this one has features to back it up. The buyer has the option between a sedan or a hatchback. No matter which is chosen, you will receive a sleek and agile vehicle. 

 

As well as the choice between sedan and hatchback, there is also the option between the base 191-hp 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and the 250-hp turbocharged engine which is the higher-end option. 

 

Maza offers a variety of options to choose from however all of them use i-Activsense. Now you might be asking yourself what that is. i-Activsense is Mazda’s sensing technology that automatically senses the surroundings of your vehicle. 

 

Coming in at the standard model spot is the Mazda3 2.5 S model with the Skyactiv-G 2.5 liter engine which has a six-speed automatic transition. 

 

To name a few, some features that are included are the 8.8-inch Mazda Connect information system, push-button start, remote keyless illuminated entry, Bluetooth, eight-speaker sound, rearview camera, and more. The front light beams sport LED lighting and daytime running lights. Showing off 16-inch aluminum wheels, you’re sure to be seen.

 

Moving on to the next model option, we have the Mazda3 2.5 Select which comes with added Blind-Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert. Convenience features include Mazda Advanced Keyless Entry, rear armrest with cupholders, and door mirror turn signals. New design features include black leatherette seats, leather-wrapped shift knob, and steering wheel as well as 18-inch aluminum wheels in a gray or silver finish. 

 

Building off of the previous model, we have the Mazda3 2.5 S Preferred which adds black or grey leatherette seats, a power moonroof, glass black front grille as well as heated front seats, and more.

 

Following swiftly is the Mazda3 2.5 S Carbon Edition which includes everything from the Preferred package with more features such as AWD which enhances the performance of the vehicle and the Skyactiv-G 2.5 liter engine paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. Bose 12-speaker audio and a unique Polymetal Gray exterior paint make this model stand out from the rest.

 

Up next we have the Mazda3 S Premium package which builds off of the Preferred package. This model notably adds a windshield-projected Active-Driving Display along with an Adaptive Front-Lighting system. Leather seats are also available in black or red for the hatchback, and black or white for the sedan. 

 

The Mazda3 Turbo comes in as a potential favorite, sporting the Skyactiv-G 2.5 Turbo engine, yielding 250 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque. Building off of the Premium package without the leather seats, this model sports a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, black or greige leatherette seats, frameless auto-dim rearview mirror, and a windshield wiper de-icer. Larger tailpipes and Polymetal Grey are available to this model as well to accentuate its style.

 

Last but certainly not least, we have the Mazda3 2.5 Turbo Premium Plus. The highest-end model comes with heated seats, Rear Direction Base Safety, which includes Smart Brake Support-Reverse, and Rear Cross-Traffic Braking, which is added to complete the full i-Activsense suite of safety features. Leather seats are available in black or red for the hatchback and black or white for the sedan. Upgrades include Traffic Jam Assist, 360° View Monitor with front and rear parking sensors, Homelink added to the frameless auto-dim rearview mirror, and Mazda Navigation System with an Active Driving Display to include Traffic Sign Recognition.
