The 2026 Mazda CX-50 carries forward Mazda’s tradition of blending rugged capability with refined design under the tagline “Designed with Nature in Mind and You at Heart.” Available in both gas and hybrid models, the CX-50 lineup emphasizes safety, versatility, and upscale comfort across all trims.

 

Gas SUV Models

All 2026 CX-50 gas models feature the SKYACTIVE®-G 2.5L engine paired with i-ACTIV All Wheel Drive (i-AWD) and Mazda Intelligent Drive Select (MI-Drive) with Sport and Off-Road models. Standard safety features include Blind Spot Monitoring, Smart Brake Support, Secondary Collision Reduction, and Driver Attention Alert. A 10.25-inch color display infotainment system and wireless phone charging are also standard.

 

The CX-50 S Select starts at $29,900 MSRP with a Black Leatherette and Gray interior, seven exterior colors, and a towing capacity of 2,000 lbs. The S Preferred ($32,000 MSRP) adds heated seats, a panoramic moonroof, and parking sensors, with an optional White Leatherette interior. The S Meridian Edition ($33,150 MSRP) offers rugged styling with unique color options like Zircon Sand Metallic.

 

Moving up, the S Premium, at $34,900 MSRP, enhances comfort and entertainment with a Bose® 12-speaker audio system and optional White Leather. The performance-focused 2.5 Turbo ($37,900 MSRP), upgrades to 320 lb-ft of torque, 35,000 lbs towing capacity, and additional interior choices such as Terracotta Leather. 

 

The Turbo Meridian Edition starts at $40,400 MSRP and adds heated rear seats, a heated steering wheel, and Mazda’s advanced navigation system. Topping the gas range, the Turbo Premium Plus ($42,900 MSRP) includes cutting-edge features like Front Cross-Traffic Alert, Traffic Support, and a frameless auto-dimming mirror with Homelink.

 

Hybrid SUV Models

Mazda expands the lineup with efficient hybrid variants powered by a 2.5L 4-cylinder hybrid engine delivering 219 hp and 163 lb-ft torque via an electronically controlled Continuously Variable Transmission (e-CVT) transmission and electronic AWD. These models include Power and Trail Driving modes, a panoramic moonroof, and a towing capacity of 1,500 lbs.

 

The Hybrid Preferred, starting at $34,750 MSRP, offers a Black Leatherette interior and six exterior colors. The Hybrid Premium ($38,150 MSRP) adds Red Leather seating, a windshield wiper de-icer, and upgraded entertainment and safety systems. Finally, the Hybrid Premium Plus, at $40,450, introduces luxury touches such as adaptive front lighting, automatic folding mirrors with memory function, signature LED taillights, and 19-inch alloy wheels.
