The already attractive and chic sedan made its debut in 2012 as the flagship model of Mazda's next-generation lineup. Since then it has quickly become one of the bestselling midsize sedans in its class, partially due to the alluring vitality of the KODO-Soul of Motion design, environmental performance, and exceptional safety, among other things. In this major refresh, Mazda has updated the Mazda6 with a couple key enhancements. Now sporting a bolder new chrome front grille with distinctive wings leading into optional LED headlights, this sedan is a showstopper any way you look at it.


The sleek outer body of the sedan was polished up to create a deeper, stronger design expression. Pronounced cat-eye like headlamps immediately call for attention. Defined curves in the styling draw the eye to the from the hood of the vehicle down to the available 19-inch alloy wheels that feature a darker color to draw in more depth. While the exterior updates are minimal, they do not go unnoticed. In the rear, available LED taillights and a low profile shark antenna fin can be found, providing a touch of class that can only be described as the Mazda way.


 
  
  
The Mazda6 is offered as a five-passenger vehicle in 3 trim levels. Let your trim express who you are with the available Sport, Touring, and the Grand Touring. Two new exciting color swatches have been added to the exterior paint options: Sonic Silver Metallic and Titanium Flash Mica. If that isn't enough to impress you, check out the arched roofline built to house the signature Mazda Heads-up Cockpit, sure to turn heads. With the Mazda6 sophistication and style go hand-in-hand.

Powering this beauty is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine putting out 184 horsepower and 185 pound-feet of torque. Available upgrades include a six-speed automatic transmission, on SKYACTIV-G engine with a stunning 13:1 compression ratio that delivers maximum power and fuel economy. The Mazda6 runs an estimated 25 city/37 highway with the automatic. Looking for a little more lift? Try upgrading to the i-Eloop feature available with the Grand Touring trim GT Technology package. i-Eloop, a regenerative barking system improves overall miles per gallon by storing energy that is captured during deceleration and coasting to a capacitor and raising overall fuel economy to 28 city/40 highway.
