This past summer Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) announced that the 2018 Mazda CX-5 was a “2018 Top Safety Pick+” recipient when providing the optional Adaptive Front-Lighting system by the nonprofit Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).
Currently, the 2018 Mazda CX-5 is the only 2018 IIHS TSP+ in the small SUV category and the 2018 Mazda CX-5 without the adaptive frontal lighting system earned a Top Safety Pick rating.
