At a time when many car brands are coming into their own, Mazda delivers power, refinement, and beauty in their most recent lineup. With the Mazda3 and MX-5 Miata receiving accolades for their performance and design, the CX-9 has joined the ranks of the great by placing on Car and Driver magazine’s first-annual 10Best Trucks and SUVs list.

 

 

 

 

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) has rated three Mazda vehicles in 2017. The “Top Safety Pick+” awardees are the Mazda CX-3 subcompact crossover SUV, Mazda3 compact sedan, and the five-door midsize Mazda6 family sedan. Vehicles must go through a variety of evaluations like small overlap front, moderate overlap front, side, roof strength, and head restraint tests along with crash prevention.

 

Mazda Motor Corporation has announced that they will offer the SKYACTIV-D 2.2 clean diesel engine in the brand-new Mazda CX-5. The announcement came earlier this year at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The offer will be available in North America in the second half of 2017. The SKYACTIV-D 2.2 will be Mazda’s first diesel engine model offered in North America. 

 

 

Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) has announced their 2016 Mazda Drive for Good Event. Lasting until January 3, 2017, the company vows to allow customers and potential owners to give back to those in need by test driving, buying, or leasing a new Mazda. Mazda has agreed to give back one hour of volunteer work to a local charity for every test drive. For customers who buy or lease a new Mazda, Mazda will donate $150 to a select national or local charity of the consumer’s choice. 

 

Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) is giving a sneak peak of the new 2016 Specialty Equipment Marketing Association (SEMA) concept cars. The MX-5 Miata Speedster Evolution and MX-5 RF Kuro match the style and speech of the Global Mazda MX-5 Cup race car. Both models stay true to Mazda’s notoriously lightweight sports car with intricate detail. 

 

 

Another year and another great update to the Mazda family. The new 2017 Mazda3 brings driving pleasure, upmarket options, and increased value to a highly competitive market.
