Mazda in is the spotlight again with the 2017 Mazda6 and Mazda MX-5 Miata RF both earning 2017 Popular Mechanics Automotive Excellence Awards. Each of these cars has reasons of their own for standing out among others in their class.

In February, Mazda North American Operations announced “Oneness,” the first advertising spot in the design series that presented the all-new MX-5 Miata RF. This debut advertisement featured the Mazda MX-5 Miata RF designer, Masanori Minamisawa, showcasing his personal connection with Mazda consumers and designing cars.

Introducing the 2017 Mazda3 4–Door Sedan, equipped with excellent features at a sweet price. The exterior of the car is pleasing to the eye with its 18-inch alloy wheels—however, it’s not just pretty, it’s safe with safety features outfitted on every corner of the vehicle. With new features like automatic and adaptive high beams, rear cross traffic alert, smart brake support, and adaptive cruise control just to name a few—this Mazda pulls in with a 9.7/10 safety rating, according to US News & World Report.

2017 marks the 4th annual Mazda Drive for Good event and this year’s fundraiser is one for the record books. Recently, Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) announced that it would donate over $5.4 million to charity and pledge 67,500 hours of service, all thanks to their loyal drivers.

Throughout the years it’s kept the same delightful characteristics instilled in the previous generations. Over the past six months, the O'Daniel Automotive Group has been awarding O'Daniel Excellence Awards to people who have shown excellent customer service and positive contributions to their community. The O'Daniel Group has given away at least 18 awards to nurses, servers, and police officers, the list goes on. These are people that have been nominated by someone who feels they deserve the recognition for their hard work, or care, in the community.

It’s no surprise that a dealership with not one, but FIVE Dealer of the Year Awards (2013-2017), and three Consumer Satisfaction Awards (2015-2017) from DealerRater should have excellent employees.
